Supported Services Case Manager: The Case Manager is responsible for accessing, coordinating, and monitoring services for individuals experiencing disabilities. This position coordinates holistic plans to assist consumers with maintaining a positive quality of life. The Case Manager assists the Services Coordinator in managing Supported Services caseload.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required, experience working with adults experiencing disabilities or mental illness, and case management experience is required. Candidate must be able to facilitate meetings with consumers, parents, and/or other natural supports. Must possess effective writing skills, ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel computer programs, and have knowledge of community resources. Current CPR and first aid certificates, current TB test, a valid Alaska driver’s license, reliable transportation and proof of vehicle insurance are required. Salary: Full-Time – 40 hours per week; 52 weeks per year; $14.00 - $16.00/ Hour DOE.
Part-Time
Computer Instructor:The Instructor is responsible for providing instruction and support to participants enrolled in computer classes and workshops to upgrade basic computer and employment skills; monitoring and reporting on participant progress; and development of curricula. Instruction may include computerized ABE/GED learning activities. Curriculum includes (but not limited to): basic computer skills, Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint; internet skills, and Microsoft Office.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in education or computer-related area preferred; expertise in computer maintenance and applications; background in cross-cultural education; curriculum development and teaching experience desired; organizational skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; commitment to participatory process; and the ability to facilitate diverse groups of people.
